WHY AN EVERY COUNTY OFFERING?
The Every County Offering is Carolina Movement’s bold initiative to raise $300,000 in 2025-2026 to launch six new church planting regions across North Carolina, reaching 21 additional counties and 3.82 million people. This two-year investment will double the number of active regions and strategically position the Movement to reach 75% of North Carolina’s population through a network of self-sustaining church planting catalysts. Each gift helps fuel a tipping point toward a statewide church planting movement—one county, one church, one life at a time.

OFFERING GUIDE:
The Every County Offering Guide is designed to equip your church with the tools and vision needed to make this special offering successful, advancing the mission of planting a Gospel proclaiming church in every county of North Carolina and cultivating a great commission culture within your congregation. This guide provides practical resources, key messages, and a clear strategy to inspire your church to give sacrificially and joyfully. As we come together in faith, we can be part of something bigger than ourselves, ensuring that every county across our state has access to a thriving, gospel-centered church.
1. Commit
Commit that your church wants to partner with Carolina Movement for our Every County Initiative to plant a Jesus-proclaiming church in Every County in NC. Fill out the form at the bottom of the webpage to let us know your church is doing an Every County Offering.
2. Set a Goal
Having a goal will help you plan, pray, communicate, and set expectations for your church.
Recommendation = $25k offering goal for every $500k of annual budget.
Example: $12.5K Goal for $250k Annual Budget
Example: $25k offering goal for $500k Annual Budget
Example: $50k goal for $1 Million Annual Budget.
3. Set a Date for Offering
Recommendation: Pentecost Sunday, June 8th, is the day the first church was planted, and a fairly open spot on most church calendars. Setting a date far enough in advance helps to plan and prevent conflicting priorities. Other options could include an Easter or Christmas offering.
4. Create a Plan
- Recommendation = 3+ weeks of promotion from stage, email & social media for a successful mission offering.
- Week 1 = CHURCH PLANTING SUNDAY (Learn More)
- Week 2 = PRAY FOR NORTH CAROLINA 🙏, take several minutes to challenge people to pray for the Every County Initiative to plant a church in Every County & ask God what he wants them to give. Ask people in your church to come prepared to give an above-and-beyond offering next Sunday. End the time by showing Josue testimony video to help people catch the Every County vision.
- Week 3 = EVERY COUNTY OFFERING. Have a special moment where you remind people what the Every County Offering is and how their giving can help thousands of people find Jesus in North Carolina over the next few years. Share a story of life change from a Carolina Movement church plant. Everyone can’t do the same thing, but everyone can do something.
5. Communicate the Plan
- Communicate the plan to your staff and leadership team.
- Create a communication plan for your church family
- Let us know what you are doing for Every County so we can best support and resource you.
6. Take the Offering
- We recommend making the Every County Offering available for both in-person and online giving. For the following seven days, people can select “Every County” online on your church’s giving page.
- Pray over the offering at the end of service for God to multiply it and use it to fulfill the great commission in North Carolina.
- Send out an “in case you missed it” email explaining the Every County Initiative & inviting people to give online.
- Let us know how it went!
- Make your donation by giving online via ACH and selecting “Every County” or sending a check. The sooner we receive your funds, the sooner we can move forward with opening our new regions!
7. Celebrate
Celebrate your church family’s generosity and the giving amount with them the next Sunday. What is celebrated gets repeated, and we all want to build a culture of generosity in our church families!

Why A Special Offering?
As part of God’s plan to grow our faith, He calls us to sacrificial giving from time to time. The Every County Offering is an opportunity to grow in our faith and prepare us for what God wants to do through our church in 2025. This offering positions us to make a greater impact here, near, and far.
What’s the difference between my tithe and the Every County Offering?
The Every County Offering is given above the tithe. What is a tithe? According to the bible, a tithe is 1/10 of your income given as a faithful act of obedience. Occasionally, there are opportunities to give in a sacrificial way above and beyond the tithe. The Every County Offering is one of those sacrificial occasions that stretch us to grow in our faith. The special offering should be above and beyond what you would regularly give.
